The OxChief Alpha is the world's first commercially available bolt-on servo solution for a zero-turn mower.
This is the complete servo system with high performance servo gear-motors installed and pre-calibrated for Bad Boy mowers. It bolts on — no cutting, no welding.
When paired with the OxChief autopilot, it enables smooth robotic control of the mower's steering arms.

Choose your model above. The Alpha fits all six Bad Boy models above, model year 2023 and newer. Email a photo of that area to support@oxchief.com before you order and we'll confirm your exact machine.
For autopilot use, the OxChief software supports the Rambler, Maverick and Maverick HD. On the Magnum, ZT Avenger and ZT Elite, the Alpha is servo hardware only.
What else you need — read this before you buy
The Alpha is the muscle, not the brain. Today the electronics box is a build-it-yourself project: you source the parts from our published bill of materials (Cube Orange+ autopilot, Raspberry Pi 5, Holybro UM982 RTK GNSS, and the rest) and assemble it yourself, following the guide in our public client repo:

This is an experimenter's product right now. If you want a turnkey box in the crate instead, get on the early-access list for the all-in-one unit (target: spring 2027) at oxchief.com.
Software subscription
The OxChief autopilot software is $17/month per account and covers up to 10 mowers. First 60 days are free; a card is required to start the trial, and you can cancel any time. Sign up at oxchief.com/signup.
